Doug earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education in 1970 from Springfield College, where he was an All-American swimmer. After earning his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1977, he served as a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer at Boston University for 4 years. In 1981 Doug opened his practice in North Andover which has been serving the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire area for over 35 years. He also completed a one year residency in orthopedic manual therapy from the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1993. Doug has worked at national and international sporting events such as the Olympics, the World Cup, and Division 1 college athletics. He has been providing/coordinating the athletic training for North Andover High School since 1988. When Doug is not working in the clinic, he enjoys spending time outdoors. He enjoys gardening, swimming, scuba diving, and golfing. Traveling and photography are also among some of his favorite hobbies.
